How does the 30-day free trial work?

You have 30 days to try SpotOn! when you choose any of our pay plans. The plan that you choose and it's features, are fully functional without any limitations so that you can get a good feel for how SpotOn! will work for you. If you cancel your pay plan within the 30 day trial period your credit card will not be charged.


Do I get a 30-Day FREE Trial if I upgrade from the Free Plan to a pay plan?

Don’t be silly! The FREE Plan is your FREE Trial and you can use it as long as you like. 30-day FREE Trials are reserved for those that begin with a pay plan.


Is there a contract commitment?

SpotOn™ is a SaaS application with a pay-as-you-go price model. No contracts to sign or usage commitments of any kind. Cancel at any time.


Can I change plans anytime that I want too?

You most certainly can! In fact you can upgrade or downgrade your plan anytime, just visit your “"My Account"” page and follow the directions. If you are downgrading your account, the new plan and pricing will take effect on the next billing cycle. If you are upgrading your account, the new plan and pricing are effective immediately for the current billing cycle. There is never a setup or any other type of fee to change your plan.


I hate making monthly payments. Is there anyway that I can pay my bill in advance?

Absolutely! Not only can you pay in advance on your "My Account" page, but should you decide this is for you then we will give you a 20% discount on the subscription fee. Once you have created your account, just visit your “"My Account"” page and follow the directions for making advance payments. There is one caveat though...


Now I'm curious, what is the caveat?

There are no refunds should you decide to cancel on plans that are paid in advance and given our 20% Good Boy discount. Sorry bout' that.


I noticed that you claim to have unlimited users on all of your plans, is it really true?

You betcha, the more the merrier! Your plan cost is not based on the number of users you have. So get everyone involved to make sure that your projects are right on target without fear of blowing the budget! Unlimited users no matter what plan you have, even our FREE plan.


What does “Active Projects” mean?

Projects can be in one of two states. Active or Inactive. A project becomes active as soon it is created, and remains “Active” until you de-activate it. Active projects are what we count against your plan allowance. If you need more active projects you can always upgrade your account.


How do I know you are secure and reliable?

We take great pride in our hosting environment and have gone to great lengths to make sure that everything is redundant. We also use state-of-the-art 256 bit encryption for the packages that have SSL security. We boast a 100% network uptime SLA and a 99.978% Hardware uptime SLA.


Do you backup my data?

Your data is backed up nightly with redundant database servers backing up each other on a constant basis.


What if I don't want people to see certain things, can I do that?

Yes. Because we are so big on collaboration on your projects we have made our permission scheme reflect the delicate balance between open-communication and needed security. You have the ability to control what types of things a person can do along with what data they can see.


We have our own servers; can we just install it here?

SpotOn™ is "Software as a Service" (SaaS) and we do not sell it as a "boxed" software. If you are worried about our hosting environment I will refer you to the question, 3 questions ago.


I sometimes need a hand, how is your support?

Basic online and email support is included with every SpotOn! plan. If you need more support options please visit your "My Account" page and choose an option that fits your needs.


It all sounds great but how can I pay for my plan?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We do not accept personal checks, purchase orders, or issue invoices.
